MY STORY

I live with my wife and 3 daughters in the state I grew up in, the beautiful state of SD.  I've been blessed with a wonderful family and a business in the financial services industry in which I've served for over 20 years.  We have an opportunity to serve folks every day with what I do, but I've always had the tug on my heart and vision for My Thorn since I first struggled with my thorn.  We are finally making it a reality and extending our call to serve to you.

IT WASN'T ALWAYS EASY

I've dealt with anxiety and panic attacks periodically ever since that first day, but have found my path to healing and wellbeing since then.  I still struggle from time to time, but I am now, I feel, in the position to  help others going through the first leg of their journey.  But, why not help more than just a handful of people.  Why not serve as a connector and create the conduit through which others like me can serve?  Since struggling with anxiety, I've also dealt with divorce and death of my dad recently.  When thorns have presented themselves, I've always grown through those times and firmly believe that we are to do so.  You can too.  Let's start this journey!

“It's so nice to be part of the My Thorn community.  There are so many hurting people out there and I'm looking forward to doing my part and helping others!”

“I love the openness of the platform My Thorn uses for their community.  I feel like I'm part of something special, not just another random Facebook group."

“I have been looking for something like this for some time.  I've hesitated going to group therapy in person, but now I can share and learn from other's experiences confidentially.  Maybe others don't, but I prefer that."
